    Setting the pivot point

    Thanks. I got the rotation working. There are other issues with the translation on rotation which are physics related issues which I will have to resolve that are not Probuilder related. Thanks, Syed
  2. I created a 3d Triangle by deleting faces from a cube and then bridging the edges. It rotates fine, except that the rotation also causes a change in position. I understand that this is due to the pivot. How do I go about setting the pivot such that the rotation doesn't cause a change in position. If you could list the steps I need to perform, I would appreciate. I did look up the object in face mode and edge mode. The Set Pivot button is disabled. Update: The pivot point does appear to be at the center. Unity 5 has it set to center too. But the position of the object still moves. Thanks, Syed

    I have Unity 5. I downloaded Probuilder. I created a Plane and brought up the UV editor. None of the buttons are enabled. Even the plane UV is not showing correctly. Is there something I am missing? Attached is the screen shot. Thanks, Syed

    When I drop a texture on a Unity plane, it stretches over the whole plane. However, when I drop it on the Probuilder plane, it repeats. How do I make the texture stretch and not repeat on the Probuilder plane? Thanks, Syed

    I did this as per the post prior to this: Delete 4 faces from a cube. Bridge the edges between the remaining 2 faces. I don't know if it is the triangle that is the issue. It might be something I am doing since even just a plain PB cube and Unity cube of scale 1 side by side seem to have a different size and positioning. Thanks, Syed

  10. I created a custom triangle object (half cube) in Probuilder with a scale of 1. This does not however match a Unity cube in size (height) with a scale of 1. Just to confirm I compared a Unity cube with a PB cube placed side by side. Though they both are of scale 1, they don't seem to be the same in size. Is there something I am missing? Should I scale a PB object by some factor when using in Unity? Also, when I position the Unity cube and the PB cube in the scene view at a Y position of 0, they are placed at different heights in the scene. Should I need to adjust something? Thanks, Syed

    I need to create a 3d right angled triangle, which is basically half a cube sliced diagonally on a face. I tried to do this using Custom Shape, but I can't seem to get the correct vertices or the order. What is the easiest way to accomplish this? Thanks, Syed

    Rounded Cube with Dynamic Textures

    It is working great. Thanks for the debugger window. It is a useful utility. I had a question which might be related. Once I run the scene, I cannot move or rotate the cubes with the gizmos in the Scene view. I get a label stating 'Static'. I can however move it by changing the values in the transform fields. Am I missing something? Thanks, Syed
