terrymorgan 23 Report post Posted May 2, 2013 Computer Lenovo H405 2x core, radeon 6700 video Windows 7 64bit This probably isn't probuilder's fault, but how do I fix it? These are single planes.
GabrielW 60 Report post Posted May 4, 2013 Hmm, it looks like you are getting light leaks beneath the walls, yes? Simplest way would be to increase the lightmap resolution, but you could still get issues. Best way would be to build custom geometry for your floor, so it's vertices match up with the walls bottom verts. The problem you have right now is, there is geometry extending beneath the walls, and getting lit apparently, which "leaks" out underneath.
terrymorgan 23 Report post Posted May 10, 2013 I have everything sitting on a big plane which disappears when I zoom in so it's impossible to tell if the geometry sticks into it or not. I guess I should make separate floors for everything.
ZedalisDesign 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2013 Yup, a giant plane is good for creating your scene but not optimal when you are trying to finish it. It's always a better route to create custom floors (and geometry in general) that will fit your needs. If you have anymore lightmap issues, feel free to let us know!
