    Simulating 90's FPS maps

Hey! Right now I'm working at a 2.5D-esque FPS in the style of Duke Nukem 3D, Dark Forces or Outlaws. From what I understand, the levels in those games were created in 2D environment by connecting "edges" and then inputing their height and assigning textures etc. Although those games where very "blocky", which is easy to achieve with ProGrids, I do believe they were not using strict grid sizes (or they were very small). The different heights of many map details seem to confirm this. Right now I'm trying to simulate this by having smaller grid size than I expected, but do you have any tips on how to easily simulate certain level design tropes from that time using contemporary tools (like ProCore Bundle)?
  2. Hey guys, Ive dabbled in Unity off an on over the years but seeing a YouTube video for pro-builder got the hobbyist game making in me to purchase a unity license and start building. I followed this tutorial on how to create an FPS controller: For whatever reason though the collision on the walls ive created using Pro-Builder (purchased version) is really jacked. I can easily penetrate the walls and fall right through my level. What is wrong here? Also can anyone tell me why my UI looks NOTHING like the Pro-builder UI from the website screenshots and tutorial videos? (see attached)

    [WIP] FPS cyberpunk game

Hello guys, this is my first topic here. I'm doing a university project game - it's a first person shooter cyberpunk with RPG elements. The city is practically done, but critics and advises are very welcome and it's possible to make changes yet. I made a video, showing all the city. You can see the video here: https://youtu.be/2vz6XLKaagg Notice that some meshes need a adjust in UVs yet, specially the train trail (actually, it's a aeromovel). Here are some screenshots to se the full size of the city. I made this in less than a month - thanks to ProBuilder. The game should be ready in July, otherwise I will not graduate hahaha If someone wants to see more, I update my Twitter frequently: @benhurvillar

    Glitchy FPS Mesh

So, I've been using ProBuilder and love it, but I have one problem. When I use the Standard Assets FPS Controller, my character seems to bob up and down when walking and sometimes floats in mid air. If anyone has the same problem / had the same problem or knows what's wrong please help. Thanks!

CTF map for our arena FPS.

Hey all. I'm the art director, music composer and level designer on our game Project Nex. It's likely that we'll go mostly BSP on our game to save money for other aspects of the project. Lucky us Pro Builder and Pro Grids is a thing that we can use in Unity. We'd love to know what you think. You can check our project at: reddit.com/r/projectnex nexfps.net http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=236501088 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FE5fPeHqr98
