    Recommended way for upgrading?

I wasn't able to test it during runtime build so it may only be an editor problem but it was noticeable enough that I rolled back the probuilder version since previous build was fine anyway. Just thought I'd share since it seemed peculiar. Let me know if you need any other info!

The version from jan 2017 does not exhibit this behavior. I don't know if the hang occurs with probuilder open, when I was testing it the instance ui window was closed both on the old version and the new version, but the hang only occured on the new version. I don't know how to describe my scene, it's not that big yet b/c I'm prototyping I have maybe about 500-1000 probuilder objects -- but this is just a guess it could be less. I have no scripts interacting with probuilder I am just using it for walls, floors, windows etc..

    Recommended way for upgrading?

hey Karl, I wanted to report to you a possible problem with the latest version of probuilder - but it may only be editor related. So I followed the upgrade as you suggested but when I hit play there is a noticeable pause at the start of the scene - and this occurs every time. It's about a half second delay for everything in the scene to start working as it should - animations etc... - everything just locks in place for 0.5-1 seconds. I can confirm it's due to upgrading probuilder because I deliberately tried it without the newest version - no pause, then only changed the project by upgrading to the latest version - pause occurs. Again, this may only be an editor thing but because I'm using manual enabling/disabling or probuilder objects depending on where character is in the scene, it was too much of a risk to use the upgraded version with such a huge spike in latency. Please let me know if you are aware of this issue and if it is solely limited to the editor if you are aware of it. Thank you very much.

No that's ok I'm using one from jan 2017. Thank you!
  5. What is the recommended way for upgrading probuilder? I have the Procore combo package with probuilder, progrids and everything. And I upgraded my project from Unity 5.4.3 to 5.6. I was wondering if I should just download the new unity package and install over it and delete the probuilder and progrids folders then reinstall -- I just want to make sure I don't lose all the objects in my scene in that few moments from when I delete probuilder and then reinstall it. Thank you.

Does Polybrush only work with Planes?

Thanks for getting back to me, looking forward to this so much!

Does Polybrush only work with Planes?

Fyi the temporary fix if anyone else is having this problem is to export the mesh as obj using probuilder's tool and then editing it with polybrush

Does Polybrush only work with Planes?

Sorry I mistyped that, the mesh modification is not working on probuilder meshes, it works on other primitives like cubes and planes which are standard (not pro builder)etc..
  9. When I use polybrush on a plane everything works great. But the mesh modification doesn't work on any other shape. I've used primitives, probuilder primitives etc.. I can paint on them but I can't modify the mesh unless its a plane. Is this intended or just because it is in beta? Also is there an e-mail you guys prefer, I've emailed for access to the github but haven't heard anything back for a few days. Thanks!

    Feature Request: Export Mesh

    Thanks for the tip!
  11. I don't see any options like you have in probuilder, but can you add an option to export the meshes you create with polybrush as an object or fbx? That would be awesome.
