    [WIP] FPS cyberpunk game

Sorry for the delay to answer hahaha. We've been very busy. It was 5 weeks just to make the models of the buildings in the city (the city have 20km²). We're still working in refinement (visually and mechanically). Here are some images of the game right now. Obs.: The game is in portuguese in this version, but will be in english for release.

    Light reflections in baked scene

This is my next test. Well, let's se what happens. Thanks for answer.

    Light reflections in baked scene

Hello! I've tried Directional Specular in a smaller scene and worked fine, but when I baked my city, resulted in the same problem. :\ It seems like the reflection image in the ground (same as the second image in the original post) is gotten in the 0,0,0 position in my scene. Any thoughts?

    Light reflections in baked scene

No, only Directional. Should be in Specular mode? haha I really don't have much knowledge with bake in Unity and I haven't saw this. I will try this setup. Thanks!
  5. Hello again, guys! Well, my question is not about ProBuilder, so.. if there is a problem posting here, let me know. I've searched over the internet and I couldn't find a solution for this (or even a explaining). When I setup my scene with lights, the reflection effect in the ground is awesome, exactly what I was looking for to seem wet. BUT, when my scene is baked, all reflections are gone. (Note: in this second image, some effects are off and the lightmap setup is low) There is something that I should do, or am I missing something?

2 materials in the same face

Well, transforming the mesh in an Asset solves the problem, since the object lost the pb proprieties.

2 materials in the same face

Thank you. As far as I know the Unity, there was always that possibility, but yes, is used in specific cases.

2 materials in the same face

Hi. I'm not sure if this is a bug, but... I'm using ProBuilder and trying to put 2 different materials in the same object. Not in different planes, one over another. In any other 3D object in Unity, it's just change the material number to 2 and add a second material. In my case, I'm using a wireframe material over another standard material. It seems to work in the editor. But when I hit play, the second material gone. I stop the game, and the material return. This is when I'm in editor mode. The building of a pb mesh is with 2 materials. And this is when I play the scene. The character in front have the same material setup, but was made in 3ds max. So... is it happening some error, or the pb meshes doesn't accept 2 materials simultaneously?

    Batching Optimizations

    Thanks!

    Batching Optimizations

I've disabled the vsync and helped a lot too. Walking around the scene I saw some parts droping the FPS and I saw that some objects was not baked as occluder. Now the FPS is oscillating 55~77 FPS, which is very good. Thanks for the help, Karl!

    Batching Optimizations

Ok, I'm doing these tests and I saw that another scene that was modeled inside one of the buildings was not turned off. This improved a lot the FPS. But some really strange things is happening. Sometimes, in the builded scene, the FPS drops to 30.0 and stay for a few seconds, then turn back to 60.0. I'm testing the scene with no lights and the pre computed realtime GI and baked GI disabled. Only Environment lightning with color for this tests.

    Batching Optimizations

Hello! I'm having some performance issues and I don't know for sure how to solve. In my scene, I have many different buildings with multi materials. But, they share same materials. I also have a platform which was built in parts but was given merge (uses 5 different materials - 2 are only emissive for lights). It seems that the batch is not happening. When I only remove my platform, that is in 3 parts, it means theoretically I should reduce only ~15 batches (5 materials for each), but is reducing 200+ batches. My platform is costing 200+ batching using only 5 materials. So, it's clearly that my entire scene have this problem. This is a screenshot of my scene texturized with 1800 batches, and the FPS dropping to 40~50 There is a way to solve this batch problem? Or I'm doing something wrong (what is most probably)? Some info: - All the objects are static and batching static - I'm using occlusion culling - is already baked - No shadows in the scene I really appreciate a little help with this, even if this problem isn't with probuilder-unity. And sorry for my bad english.

    [WIP] FPS cyberpunk game

I don't know if I can keep updating here sometimes, but... I made some light tests in the internal scenes of the game. This week I should start to insert the textures in all city. A lot of work haha

No, just some references and concepts. I've made a prototype only with blocks before starts the real modeling... and a few sketches too, but due to the short time to make, was basically creating directly with ProBuilder. Here are some concepts:

    [WIP] FPS cyberpunk game

Hello guys, this is my first topic here. I'm doing a university project game - it's a first person shooter cyberpunk with RPG elements. The city is practically done, but critics and advises are very welcome and it's possible to make changes yet. I made a video, showing all the city. You can see the video here: https://youtu.be/2vz6XLKaagg Notice that some meshes need a adjust in UVs yet, specially the train trail (actually, it's a aeromovel). Here are some screenshots to se the full size of the city. I made this in less than a month - thanks to ProBuilder. The game should be ready in July, otherwise I will not graduate hahaha If someone wants to see more, I update my Twitter frequently: @benhurvillar
